About Us
Accounting Passion Discovery Challenge (APDC) is an educational and challenging competition organized by the Business Club of UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College with certifications and prizes to be won. This accounting competition includes testing accounting undergraduates’ knowledge from basic to advance level in terms of accounting theories and calculations. This competition also puts accounting undergraduates’ practical skills to the test in terms of solving real-world case problems.
Ultimately, the competition also tests on their interpersonal and soft skills in presenting their accounting solutions which are crucial to equip themselves to be more competitive and competent. In addition, to alleviate the stress currently faced by many undergraduates, the competition includes educational and resourceful talks conducted by professional speakers and a trivia game session which tests on basic accounting terminologies. This competition is a team-based competition joined by four members in a team with the targeted capacity of 12 teams. The competition will be held virtually on Zoom platform and is open to all accounting undergraduates in Malaysia from both public and tertiary education institutions.
